Liesje Reyskens (1984 lives and works in Belgium.)
Colour, contrast, originality, sensuality and innocence characterize the work of this talented young photographer.
L.R. followed her studies at the “Media and Design Academy Khlim” in Genk – Belgium.
In 2007 she finished her academic year with great distinction for her autonomous photographic work. With a positive result: she participated at the Canvas Collection, at the Bozar culture temple in Brussels.
Strong interest in Reyskens photography increased witch resulted in several commands for glossy magazines, the City of Genk, Design platform Limburg and Z33.
In this way her profile is growing more and more like a contemporary photographer with an international-looking style.
Her pictures are often an intriguing mix of realism and fantasy. While she worked for a long time mainly with non-professional models she evolved.
However, she continues to tuck at young still quite inexperienced models Reyskens aims to initiate the naive, fairy-tale in her images.
She portrays the youthful innocence with fairy-like appearance, but at the same time there is a “hitch” a double bottom, as if in this fairy tale is a black page.
Makeup and styling does she often itself and above all, the settings she chooses are her own personal style with focus of a reinforcement of the image.
Her contemporary work attracts the attention of a growing number of fans and followers.
